Banana Split Smoothie

Banana Split Smoothie: Featuring Protein40 & SuperBeets 

This Banana Split Smoothie is like having dessert for breakfast….except it’s the healthy superfood version! Top with fresh strawberries and sprinkle on some hemp seeds and you’re all set to go!! It makes more than one so share with a friend. 

Banana Split Smoothie

Chocolate Layer

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 non frozen banana
  • 1 scoop Protein40
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp light coconut milk or other milk of choice
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Blend well and pour in glass.

Berry Beetroot Layer

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 non frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup medium sized strawberries
  • 1/4 cup tart cherries
  • 2 tbsp light coconut milk or other milk of choice
  • 1 tsp SuperBeets Black Cherry beetroot powder

Blend well and pour over chocolate layer.

Coconut Maca Layer

  • 1 non frozen banana
  • 1 tsp maca powder
  • 3 tbsp light coconut milk or other milk of choice
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp maple syrup

Blend well and top off smoothie with mixture.  Top with a few berries, hemp seeds, serve with spoon and straws and enjoy!
